We started off the day by having pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Jaden's request of course. I don't know if the pancake mix was bad or what but they were nasty! I ended up just throwing them away! I hope it wasn't my cooking! LOL! I let him open his prese4nts from me then so I could watch him enjoy them while it wasn't so crazy.
Around noon Cynthia and Madison came and picked us up and we went to McDonald's to let the kids play for a while. We probably stayed about 2 hours because we got to chatting and the kids were just having fun playing. Cynthia still had to get Jaden a present so we went to Target then home to get ready to go out to dinner.
We decided to go to Benihana's for dinner with my Mom and her husband. I invited Cynthia along as well because she had never been there. Benihana's has always been a favorite with our family. My brothers had other plans and I was bummed they couldn't go but we had fun anyways. Jaden like watching our guy cook the food. He was cracking up the whole time! He especially liked the volcano they make out of the onions. I have never seen a little guy like salad as much as he does! He ate his whole bowl and then tried to take mine! It was pretty funny. At the end of Dinner they came and let him blow out a candle the put on a little Budah guy and sang to him. Then they took a little polaroid picture and gave it to us. I love those because I have some from when I was little. We had brought some cupcakes that Cynthia and I made the day before so he had a cupcake and a bowl of icecream. The kid never turns down sweets!
The next day we had his party at Chuck E Cheese. I wasn't to thrilled about having the party there in the middle of a Saturday afternoon but that's what my boy wanted so he got it. This year at least! From now on I can say "Jaden you already had your party at Chuck E. Cheese!" Thank goodness because I never want to do it again. I couldn't enjoy myself because I was just stressed to the max! The people there are extremely disorganized! All that matters is he had fun though! I don't have much more to say about that experience so here are some pictures.
